Project Overview

Saint Andrews Van Horne Trail

The Saint Andrews Kiwanis Club and Sentiers NB Trails have made a proposal to the Town of Saint Andrews to develop the old rail bed into an Active Living (non motorized) Trail that everyone in the community will be proud to use and experience. The Kiwanis Club has proposed to fund the trail project over three years which includes the preparation and paving of a 8 foot wide trail which will extend 2.1 km from Water Street to the far side of Katy’s Cove on the old rail bed.

YEAR 1 - Complete!
Beginning across the street from Langmaid Park, the trail is tucked in between the butterfly hedge planted by Kingsbrae Garden a number of years ago and the big willow tree. Then continuing past Queen Street extension on the old rail bed up to Prince of Wales Street.

YEAR 2 - Complete!

Prince of Wales Street to Salt Marsh Lane.

YEAR 3 - Complete!

Salt Marsh Lane to the far side of Katy's Cove.
